Wales

Here are some pictures from North Wales, were we spent several days. We visited many of Edward's castles, and hiked Cadir Idris, which was exhausting (as the picture of me just before the summit indicates), but well worth the work for the views. Wales was Joe's favorite part of the trip, and I think probably mine too. I really liked the Scottish Highlands, but when you visit the towns in Wales you can get a flavor of the local culture, which you can't get in the Highlands. The people were very friendly, and we met some wonderful people in all the little pubs we stopped in. (If you ask Joe what his favorite part of the trip was, he'd say "Beer.") Of course, we also saw a lot of sheep. A LOT of sheep.
