We took our little "big" girl for a walk last night facing forward in the Baby Bjorn for the first time. She enjoyed it enough to forget that it was time to eat and pushing bedtime, so I think it was a hit. The hat cracked me up the whole time: she looked like a cod fisherman who'd lost her boat, and somehow it made her cheeks look extra large.
It's still primarily Dad who uses the Baby Bjorn with her. Maybe it would work better for me with her facing forward. The few times I attempted to use it with her facing my chest, I ended up with puke down to my belly button. And nestling her head right between her two food sources without actually being able to eat didn't exactly lead to a calm and content baby.
