The Twins take on the big bad Yankees today, and Harper is ready to cheer them on in style!
When the lady at day care saw Harper's shirt this morning she said, "They sure start you kids early!" I explained that both her parents were from Minnesota, that her dad is a fan, and that our friends and family from back home had made sure she had at least two Twins outfits in each size between newborn and 2 years. I thought maybe that would help her see that we aren't fanatics, but that it's a nostalgia thing. From the look on her face, I don't think it worked. Maybe tomorrow I'll bring Harper in her "I Love Joe Mauer" bib. That ought to clear things up.
my brother sent Michael his first Homer Hanky in the mail today. He too has more twins outfits than he knows what to do with! Go Twins.

ReplyDeleteI tried the pink hat on Harper before we left for day care, but it was still a bit big. It did make for a good game of peek-a-boo, though, since it covered her eyes. :)
