It's been a week of milestones for Harper. First, her two top teeth came in to complement the two she had on the bottom. She's been surprisingly not cranky during teething. She was drooling like crazy for a few days but was her usual happy self, so I was surprised to find that the top teeth had already cut through.
She also used her push toy to walk all by herself. She kind of walks likes she's had a few too many beers, but hey, she's doing it all by herself!
In this one she gets a little distracted by the pull on our buffet, but eventually she gets moving. It also looks like her pants are falling off...because they are. Apparently she's not quite big enough to keep this pair on.
Saturday we had gorgeous weather and we were able to get Harper out in the backyard for the first time. She didn't exactly enjoy it.
First we had her on the deck, and after a few minutes she decided it was ok to crawl around.
Then we put her in the grass. This is where it went downhill.
She's no longer happy and is definitely starting to freak out.
I really don't like it here guys!
I rescued her from the grass and thought that maybe if we went back to the deck she'd be ok.
It was definitely not ok. That was the end of our outdoor adventure for the day.
We also took Harper on her first long-ish hike. She may not have liked sitting in the grass, but she does great sitting in the backpack. She likes playing with Dad's hair while he carries her up the mountain.
