North Cheyene Canyon

In early February we went for a drive to Colorado Springs to see what we could find in the area. We hadn't been down that way since we first moved out here, so we thought we'd explore a little. We found this great canyon with lots of trailheads, and went for a small hike with some fantastic views of the front range and the canyon. We also took an old, one lane gravel road back down that had some cool tunnels and road cuts. Our new Highlander also makes an appearance in these photos.

We also stopped at the Garden of the Gods park, which is where the pictures with the huge rock formations are from.
