This past weekend I went up to visit Miles...and Carrie and Scott. I also got to see Melissa and her new puppy, and experienced an evening's worth of quality entertainment at the karaoke bar called Divas and Rockstars (the name says it all, so I won't even try to embellish). I'd say it was a pretty successful weekend, particularly since I was originally scheduled to go the previous weekend, when the Red River was hitting it's all-time high flood levels. Luckily I was able to reschedule before the second flood crest hits in a few weeks.
Other than my wild evening hanging with West Fargo's divas (no, I did not sing), it was a pretty mellow weekend--and this picture says why. That's Miles doing what Miles does best: sleeping. Here he fell asleep in my lap, despite my best efforts to prop him up and keep him awake.
And here's Miles sporting his very chic polka-dot outfit and matching tasseled hat. Apparently this was the first time he was big enough to wear that outfit. He's growing so much he can hardly keep his eyes open!
